A Bridge to the Rich Heritage of Old Persia

I’m Negar, a Persian language lover. The story of FarsiMonde began with my passion for linguistics, anthropology, and history.
As a language teacher, I had the opportunity to work at the Dehxoda Institute in Tehran, dedicated to teaching Persian to non-Iranians. This was a turning point in my life, marking the start of my dream to devote myself to teaching Persian, communicating with people worldwide, listening to their stories, and discussing literature.

After a few years of teaching at Dehxoda, I realized that most Persian learning resources were inadequate and outdated. Additionally, many people interested in learning Persian couldn’t come to Iran, and online courses were neither widespread nor efficient to help them. It inspired me to create a Persian language teaching platform to reach a global audience. I discussed the idea with my colleague and friend, Cinna who suggested creating a website. This is how FarsiMonde came to life in 2019.

FarsiMonde has grown significantly during the past years and our team now consists of six professional members. Our team works across various fields, including translating, interpreting, proofreading, linguistics, and teaching foreign languages to Iranians.

We have Persian learners from all over the world, from Australia and Japan to Guyana and Chile.However, we are still working hard to achieve our ultimate goal: transforming FarsiMonde into a hub for dialogue among people interested in the culture, history, and art of Persian-speaking countries, including Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Persian-speaking regions of Uzbekistan.
